Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel will be offering a series of ‘Naughty but Nice’ chocolate promotions throughout Chocolate Week.
‘Chocoholics Afternoon Tea’ in The English Tea Room
The English Tea Room will be serving a ‘Chocoholics’ version of their award-winning Traditional Afternoon Tea. Guests can enjoy a choice of 17 teas, including Oolong tea which is renowned for its chocolate notes. Head Pastry Chef, Fabien Ecuvillon, will create a series of delicate pastries using leading chocolates from around the World, such as Original Beans Cru Virunga chocolate ice-cream (Congo), Valrhona Macaé chocolate cupcakes (Brazil), Amedei Chuao chocolate crumble profiteroles (Venezuela) and Chocolaterie de l’opéra Divo milk chocolate & passion fruit macaroons (Ivory Coast). These will be served alongside succulent sandwiches, freshly baked scones and even a chocolate cake from the trolley. Relax to the sounds from the Baby Grand between 3pm and 6pm Monday to Friday and 1pm to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Advance reservations are recommended – 020 7493 6020. Price from: £37 per person.
‘Chocolate Pedicure’ in The Spa at Brown’s Hotel
Whilst reclining on a heated treatment bed, guests can sip either a chocolate martini, or a hot chocolate. This pedicure starts with a gentle foot massage using warm chocolate sauce and is followed by an invigorating exfoliation using brown sugar and chocolate. The feet are then soaked in warm coco milk before guests enjoy a pressure point foot massage and a vanilla paraffin foot wrap, making the feet feel super soft. The nails are then shaped and painted with a colour of their choice, including Essie’s ‘Chocolate Kisses’. This 90 minute pedicure costs £85. For spa reservations please call 0207 518 4009.
Indulgent Chocolate Cocktails in The Donovan Bar
The Donovan Bar will be offering a series of indulgent chocolate cocktails. These will include their famous Chocolate Truffle Martini, alongside Mother Rum and Cocoa Confessions.
