Easter ‘egg’citement in HIX at The Albemarle
From 15 – 25 April, Marcus Verberne, Executive Chef and Mark Hix, Director of Food at HIX at The Albemarle will be introducing a selection of unusual eggs from Clarence Court. A variety of eggs will be featured such as rhea, goose, tam and pheasant.  Why not opt for fried goose egg with Morecambe Bay brown shrimps and ramsons, or indulge in a soft-boiled rhea’s egg (for two) with asparagus soldiers.

In addition, on Easter Day lunch, 24 April, HIX at The Albemarle will serve Hay-baked leg of Launceston lamb and roast rib of Hereford beef with all the trimmings from their famous carving trolleys. Advanced reservations are highly recommended.

Easter Traditional Afternoon Tea
From the 15 – 25 April 2011, The English Tea Room will be serving their award-winning Traditional Afternoon Tea with an Easter twist.  This will include not only a choice of 17 teas, but also delicate pastries, succulent sandwiches, freshly baked scones, warm hot cross buns and Simnel cake from the trolley.  Relax to the sounds from the Baby Grand between 3pm and 6pm Monday to Friday and 1pm to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.  Advance reservations are recommended – 020 7493 6020.  Price from: £38 per person.

Easter Treats
This Easter, Brown’s Hotel is offering a special ‘Easter Treats’ stay which includes an upgrade on arrival, Full English breakfast, a £60 credit which guests can enjoy in HIX at The Albemarle, The Donovan Bar or The Spa and a late check-out of 4pm.  Prices start from £380 excluding VAT for a Classic Room per night, and £455 excluding VAT for an Executive Room, subject to availability.

Easter Family Affair
For those travelling with the family, why not take advantage of the ‘Unforgettable Family Affair’ package at Brown’s Hotel.  Book a Deluxe Room or Classic Suite and receive another interconnecting room for the children COMPLIMENTARY.  This stay also includes an outstanding selection of gifts and treats for the children, including Easter eggs and toys.  Each child under 12 receives a 50% reduction on all food and drink and children under three eat for free.   Price for two Deluxe rooms per night is £ 590 + VAT and £ 1400 + VAT for Classic Suite and interconnecting Executive room, based on two adults and two children staying, including full English breakfast for all the family.
