Festive Paul Smith Decorations at Rocco Forte's Brown's Hotel

This December, Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel and British Fashion designer Paul Smith have teamed up to create a magical array of unique festive decorations.

A magnificent Christmas tree with hundreds of Paul Smith hand painted decorations will set the scene for a Christmas to remember, alongside topiary animals inspired by “The Jungle Book” which is believed to have been penned by Kipling whilst staying at the hotel.

Framing these decorations throughout the hotel will be a series of large baubles, created by Britain’s most acclaimed and successful contemporary artists including Fiona Rae, Tim Noble & Sue Webster, Caragh Thuring, Richard Woods, Rob Ryan, Naomi Avsec, acclaimed architect Piers Gough and Paul Smith himself, each of which will be sold by silent auction to raise money for Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres.

‘I have always loved the look and feel of Brown’s Hotel: like us they are proud to be British but with a contemporary twist’ says Paul Smith ‘I am delighted to have been challenged to create something truly unique while raising money for Maggie’s’.

Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres was carefully selected by Paul Smith and Stuart Johnson, General Manager of Brown’s Hotel.  ‘The idea behind Maggie’s is inspiring and it is a privilege for us to raise funds for them.  We are currently working with them, by way of decorating and furnishing the interiors of their new centre in my home town of Nottingham’.  Paul Smith

Paul Smith Christmas decorations will also be sold at No 9 Albemarle Street, Paul Smith’s furniture and curiosity shop, and guests of Brown’s Hotel will also be able to buy them through the hotel.
