The Spa at Rocco Forte's Brown's Hotel introduces a series of Summer Sporting Spa Treatments
London, May 2012 - Summer 2012 is all about sport in London. In light of this, the team in The Spa at Brown’s Hotel have come up with three unique treatments for those of an athletic inclination, available from 27 July to 12 August 2012.
Brown’s Relaxathon
Treatment time - 90 mins
Price £190
This treatment is a must for all athletes and begins with an assessment with a trainer from the renowned SP&Co Gym (www.spandco.co.uk). This involves a Functional Movement Screen to ascertain your level of fitness and mobility. This ranking and grading system ascertains movement patterns that are key to normal function. A person’s functional limitations and asymmetries can be identified and issues eliminated through the creation of an appropriate fitness plan. Next the SP&Co trainer will take you through a 20 minute tailor-made work-out routine to develop your level of fitness in our gym. This programme can be recorded and developed for future work-outs. Then move through to The Spa to receive a Brown’s Fusion massage which uses a combination of massage techniques to reduce stress, muscle fatigue whilst aiding relaxation, thus giving your body a full MOT.
‘Backstroke’
Treatment Time - 45 mins
Price £70
This relaxing back treatment soothes and invigorates tired back muscles. Enjoy a Carita back cleanse followed by a revitalising citrus vitamin C infused back scrub to remove all dead skin cells. This is followed by a relaxing back massage using essential oils of pink grapefruit and juniper berry to revive and rejuvenate.
Summer ‘sault’
Treatment time- 90 mins
Price £110
To prepare for summer, enjoy a full body invigorating Dead Sea salt scrub infused with coffee to remove dead skin cells, relieve tension and stimulate blood circulation. This will be followed by the application of smoothing coffee blossom body cream to help reduce the appearance of cellulite and wrinkles and reveal the skins natural radiance. An express pedicure ends the treatment, so be sure to choose a nail colour to suit your leotard and to complete this top to toe transformation!
