Private Dining, Meetings & Events at Rocco Forte's Brown's Hotel

Located in the heart of Mayfair, Rocco Forte's Brown's Hotel provides the perfect venue for any occasion, from top-end business meetings to an intimate dinner for 10. Each of the six private meeting rooms has not only an exciting history, but also boasts an abundance of natural daylight, high ceilings and fabulous antiques, whilst still encompassing state-of-the-art technology.

The Roosevelt Room, which is situated on the first floor of the hotel, is named after the former American President, Theodore Roosevelt, who first stayed at Brown's for his marriage to Edith Kermit Carow. Their wedding certificate hangs in the room. Decorated in neutral colours, this elegant room's stunning mirror, ornate ceilings, opulent chandeliers, high windows and antique furnishings provide a truly regal experience and can accommodate up to 60 guests for a reception or 38 theatre style.

The Niagara Room is similar in style and decoration and has been home to many high-profile parties - this room was the actual room in which the Niagara Commission agreed that the power of water would be used to conduct electricity in June 1890. Connected to the Roosevelt Room, it makes the ideal location for weddings, meetings with break-out room requirements and larger receptions for up to 120 people.

The Clarendon Room, which is situated on the ground floor, is Brown's largest private dining room and is perfect for banquets and meetings for up to 70 people. The Clarendon Room is named after the Earl of Clarendon, who resided on this site when it was Clarendon House during the 1860s. Boasting tall windows over Dover Street and ornate Victorian ceilings with crystal chandeliers, this sophisticated room is perfect for exclusive events and guests attending events in this room can make use of the hotel's private entrance on Dover Street.

For a more intimate gathering of up to 10 people, The Lord Byron, The Graham Bell and The St George's Room, provide the perfect setting.

All this, along with exceptional service, a dedicated events team and outstanding food make Rocco Forte's Brown's Hotel the perfect location for all private meeting and dining requirements.

Each event is tailor-made to the host's specific requirements with special attention being given to the small details that make a difference. Nothing is too much trouble at Brown's and should guests wish to have a string quartet or a themed canapé reception, then it can be arranged.

Having completed a £24-million renovation in December 2005, Olga Polizzi, Director of Design for The Rocco Forte Collection, has managed to create a contemporary look, while retaining traditional elegance. Fresh colours and natural materials blend perfectly with original wood panelling, mosaic floors, gilt mirrors, chandeliers and antique furnishings. Brown's is now home to 117 elegant rooms and suites that also provide an ideal setting for intimate gatherings, outstanding restaurants, a buzzing bar and relaxing spa.

Brown's offers a wide range of special packages, such as a Daily Delegate Package of just £85 per person, which includes room hire, a working lunch, a bottle of mineral water per person, two coffee and tea breaks, a flip chart and VAT. During the summer months, Brown's is tailor-making this package to include freshly-made lemonade, iced tea, mini cornettos, fresh water melon and home-made sorbets. In January, Detox Packages are available to help boost energy and encourage a healthy mind - this includes mini-seasonal fruit skewers, granola bars and natural fruit smoothies.
