New London Appointments for Rocco Forte Hotels
The Rocco Forte Collection is pleased to announce the following new appointments with immediate effect, following its recent acquisition of Brown's Hotel in London's Mayfair.
Jason Harding takes on the position as Resident Manager of Brown's Hotel. Jason was previously based at the company's Lowry Hotel in Manchester where he also held the position of Resident Manager. Jason has been in the hotel industry for 15 years, initially with Hilton and Forte hotels. He joined The Rocco Forte Collection four years ago, starting at The Balmoral in Edinburgh where he latterly held the position of Director of Rooms Division, responsible for rooms, spa and engineering, before transferring to The Lowry Hotel shortly after it opened in 2001.
Sally Rouse has been appointed Director of Sales & Marketing of Brown's Hotel. Sally was previously London Sales Director for The Rocco Forte Collection. Initially trained at the Savoy Group, holding a number of subsequent junior and middle management positions within the group including Reservations Manager, Sally joined The Rocco Forte Collection from Preferred Hotels & Resorts where, among other things, she was responsible for selling Brown's Hotel to the London market.
Francesca Gori takes over from Sally Rouse as London Sales Director, based at the company's head office. Francesca joined The Rocco Forte Collection Italia in 1999 and was responsible for the successful launch of the company's Hotel Savoy in Florence and the Hotel de Russie in Rome within the American market. She was later appointed the company's first Sales Director of North America, based in New York, where she represented the whole collection. In her new London role, Francesca will specialise in the leisure sector.
Commenting on the new appointments, David Pantin, Managing Director of UK and Russia, said, 'We are delighted to have been able to fill these new positions internally. These new appointments recognise the hard work and talent of all three people, and I am confident that their past experience in the industry and their contribution to our hotels will be a great asset to the company.'
