The English Tea Room at Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel, London’s Most Popular Afternoon Tea!
Following the £24-million renovation of Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel, The English Tea Room, which serves the most famous afternoon tea in London, has returned with a modern twist!
The contemporary, sophisticated and stylish interior of The English Tea Room is cleverly mixed with a hint of tradition, thanks to the original wood paneling, fire places and Jacobean detailed plaster ceiling.
To the accompaniment of live piano music, guests can indulge in Traditional English Afternoon Tea for £32.50 per person. This afternoon tea consists of a choice of 19 teas, including Brown’s own blend, along with a selection of succulent finger sandwiches, an assortment of delicate pastries, fruit and plain scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve, as well as a choice of freshly baked cakes from the trolley. Guests can also enjoy all of the above, along with a glass of chilled Taittinger Champagne for £41 per person, or a glass of Rose Taittinger Champagne for £45 per person. Should anyone still be hungry, The English Tea Room will replenish all of the dishes at no additional charge. Afternoon Tea is served between 3pm and 6pm Monday to Friday and 2pm to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
No matter what a guest’s dietary requirements, the team of chefs at Brown’s Hotel will ensure that everyone has the chance to enjoy their award-winning afternoon tea. Advanced notice is required.
The English Tea Room also serves a selection of lighter dishes, which includes a ‘Make Your Own Salad’ menu for the summer months. These dishes are offered between 11am and 2.30pm and from 6pm to 11pm daily.
